Matthews first independent brewery is now open in the heart of historic downtown Matthews. We're now offering a variety of delicious brews on site from our 5 barrel brew house. Some of our most recent offerings include:
Silver Meteor IPA | 6% ABV
Our west coast style IPA is a house favorite and is brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops.
Tidewater Red Ale | 5% ABV
Made with Cascade, Willamette, and Chinook hops. An amber-colored ale which has a medium candy-like caramel malt sweetness and dry finish.
Iron Master Stout | 4.5% ABV
A traditional dry Irish stout brewed with Marris Otter base malt, roasted barley, and black malt which contribute a chocolate coffee-like aroma. Slightly bittered with East Kent Golding hops. This beer is light in body and easy drinking.
Sunland Orange Honey Wheat | 5% ABV
Our American wheat beer. Brewed with a generous portion of orange peel and honey malt and spiced with coriander. This beer is fruity, refreshing and slightly cloudy in appearance and designed to pair well with hot summer days.
Sunland Orchard IPA | 6% ABV
Northeastern style IPA with a single focus of utilizing El Dorado hops!! This hazy, juicy, punch in the face of a citrus dankness bomb clocks in for easy drinking 6% abv.
Sun Queen Saison | 5.5% ABV
A smooth dry pale ale fermented on house solera yeast. This beer has a lemon grass/citrus nose with a nice dry finish.
Sunland Kölsch Style Ale | 4.8% ABV
A clean, crisp, delicately balanced very pale to golden beer usually with a very subtle fruit and hop character. Subdued maltiness throughout leads into a pleasantly light and refreshing finish. In can have a subtle fruit aroma from fermentation (apple, cherry or pear) Brilliant clarity is a characteristic made by lagering at cold tempertures.
The Commoner Carolina Common | 5.2% ABV
Collaboration beer with Legal Remedy Brewing (Rock Hill, SC) utilizing 100% Dark Munich malt from Carolina Malt House (Salisbury, NC) to produce a Carolina Common style ale.
Fermented on Seaboard Brewing solera Saison house yeast at colder fermentation temperatures provide full presentation of grain and layering profiles of clove with subtle spice flavor
